I have very thick 4C hair and I’m always afraid that products will not work on my hair but baby Donna’s recipe is to die for. It gave me one of the most beautiful twist outs I have had since I’ve gone natural almost 8 years ago. I also use them on my son and both of our hair is flourishing. For once the term "A quarter size dollop" finally applies! I take a small amount work it through my wet hair finish with the vanilla gel, air dry and finger separate curls and.. love the results

This is a teenager who wants to walk around with that unkept hair. I purchased this for myself because my hair needed moisture and instead he keeps stealing and using it. Said he loves the way it smells and how his curls look so moisturized.

A little goes along way. I love this edge control and the hold it provides without a sticky feeling or white residue. It provides a soft hold which last all day. Those rare occasions where I did sweat the edge control doesn’t make my edges look sweated out instead my curls still pop. I love the smell as well.

Looking at the advertisement of Tabitha Brown and her husband I knew my hair was missing something. After being diagnosed with stage one breast cancer I decided to cut my hair on the sides and try the Curl Defining Mousse! It holds my hair and I don’t need to retest it at night. Did I mention it smells delicious! I actually purchased everything for myself and my daughter( she’s grown but I still buy her stuff). I highly recommend this!

Oh my gosh l love these’s products they make my loc feel so soft and smell good enough to eat I also use the products on my granddaughter she is 8 and she loves the smell thank you Auntie

The ultimate test was when I simply picked out my afro (no blow dryer, no heat), sprayed & slicked back my hair with the edge gel, and put it into a top bun.
And I used a wide tooth comb to help slick it back.
I just KNEW there were going to be a few frizzy escapees, but there were none!😲
All the tresses stayed in place the full day, no problems, no worries! Whaaaaaaa?! And, of course, it smelled amazing—as Donna's Recipe does 😏
Last, there was no guilt that I was putting questionable chemicals in my hair. I'm on my healthy hair journey with DR's products & I'm not trying to derail my progress (like I've accidentally done in the past ... a few times🤦🏾♀️😅)
The only thing I need for them to do is provide it in a bigger jar, and I'll be good to go!

During Black Friday I purchased both Sweet Potato Pie Products and Whipped Vanilla Cream Product line. I used all of the products on my hair and did a no heat roller set on my 4c textured hair. This picture is showing three weeks of the roller set from 12/27/2024 through 01/12/2025. The other picture is an quick updo on today 01/22/2025. For the updo I sprayed some water on my hair, used sweet potato pie leave in conditioner, sweet potato pie hair and scalp oil, whipped vanilla cream curl enhancer and whipped vanilla cream edge control to achieve this look.

This product should be in all stores. It smells so delicious that I can eat it because of it my hair is so much easier to blow dry.

I purchased this item as a Christmas present for my daughter. She is so beautiful with her hair maintenance regime! My daughter, Brie Turner, was recently crowned Miss Black Maryland and she sent Donna's Recipe a video of her using the product during her campaign. I purchased the entire line for her as a Christmas gift. She used this product in the attached photos as she made her 1st public appearance of 2025. It was windy, but once the wind subsided, those curls went right back in place. She also uses your products when she performs with Step Afrika. Would Donna's Recipe consider sponsorship as she runs for Miss Black USA ? The pageant takes place in August 2025.
